BCS Takes On the Surf City 5K! 🏃♀️🌊🇺🇸
Beach City Sports is putting together a team for the Surf City Run 5K in Huntington Beach, and we’d love for you to run, walk, jog, or cheer alongside us!
The Surf City Run takes place along the historic 4th of July parade route on Main Street and Pacific Coast Highway, with views of the pier and Pacific Ocean before finishing at Worthy Park.
We’ll be doing the 8:00 AM 5K and creating a casual BCS meet-up before and after the race so our community can connect, take photos, and enjoy the morning together. We’ll also have a Beach City Sports tent on-site, so you’ll know where to find us before and after you cross the finish line.

For the second time in our 15-year history, Beach City Sports is showing up BIG for the iconic Huntington Beach 4th of July Parade—and we want YOU there with us!
We’ll be walking alongside our custom LCD truck float with good vibes, big smiles, and even a few footballs and kickballs being tossed (with legendary aim, of course 😉). This is a fun, high-energy opportunity to show off your BCS spirit and be part of a cherished community tradition dating back to 1904.
👟 Volunteers will:
‣ Walk alongside our LCD float (no touching the screens!)
‣ Hand out merch and wave to the crowd
‣ Optionally toss balls (football or kickball only, safely!)
‣ Bring the energy and community love
🎽 What to Wear:
‣ A red, white, or blue Beach City Sports shirt (or we’ll provide one)
‣ Feel free to accessorize with any 4th of July or BCS gear
‣ Comfortable walking shoes + bring your own water bottle
